Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TailorMade Weddings (“TailorMade”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you visit our website, sign up for our services, or interact with us. By using our services, you agree to this policy.
Who we are
TailorMade Weddings is a marketing and business growth agency for the wedding industry. We operate in Australia and the United States.
Contact: info@tailormadeweddings.co
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: information you give us, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.
Information you give us
- Name, email address, phone number, and business details when you submit an enquiry, book a consultation, or sign up for our services
- Payment and billing information when you become a client (processed by Stripe, we never store full card details)
- Marketing performance data and account access when you authorise us to manage your advertising or business systems
- Any content you share with us as part of working together (creative briefs, business documents, login access to your tools)
Information collected automatically
- Website usage data including pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and approximate location (via IP address)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Cookies section)
- Form submission metadata (timestamps, source URL)
Information from third parties
- When you connect your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising account to our systems, we receive ad performance data including spend, impressions, clicks, leads, and reach
- When you connect Google services (such as Google Calendar or Google Ads), we receive only the data needed to operate the integration you have authorised
- We do not receive your Meta or Google account password at any time
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve our services
- Communicate with you about your account, our services, or marketing activities you have agreed to receive
- Generate ad performance reports and dashboards inside our internal systems
- Process payments and manage billing
- Send service-related emails and SMS messages
- Comply with legal obligations
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information.
Legal basis for processing (EU/UK residents)
We process your personal information under the following legal bases:
- Contract performance: when processing is necessary to provide services you have requested or signed up for
- Legitimate interests: for analytics, security, fraud prevention, and direct marketing to existing clients (you can object at any time)
- Consent: for marketing communications to non-clients, cookies (where required by law), and any processing where consent is the appropriate basis
- Legal obligation: where we are required to retain or share information by law
We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under GDPR Article 37, but you can direct all data protection enquiries to info@tailormadeweddings.co.
Meta Marketing API
When you authorise TailorMade to access your Meta advertising account, we use the Meta Marketing API to retrieve advertising performance data on your behalf. Specifically:
- We request the minimum permissions required to read ad performance data (typically ads_read, business_management)
- We store an encrypted access token associated with your account so we can pull data on a daily schedule
- The data we retrieve is limited to performance metrics: spend, impressions, clicks, lead counts, cost per lead, and reach
- We do not access, store, or share private message content, contact lists, friend information, or any data not directly required to report on advertising performance
- You can revoke our access at any time through your Meta Business Settings, and you may also request that we delete any data we hold about your campaigns by contacting us
- Our use of information received from Meta APIs adheres to Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies
SMS and messaging communications
If you provide your phone number, you may receive SMS messages from us related to:
- Service updates about your account
- Appointment reminders and confirmations
- Marketing messages, but only if you have explicitly opted in
- Two-factor authentication codes
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the email above.
We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) in the United States, the A2P 10DLC carrier requirements, and the Spam Act 2003 in Australia. We will never share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep you logged in
- Remember your preferences
- Understand how visitors use our website (analytics)
- Measure the effectiveness of our marketing
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.
We use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand site usage and ad performance. These services may collect information about your visit. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking via Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API (CAPI) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). The Pixel collects information about your interactions with our website — pages visited, actions taken, and device/browser metadata. CAPI sends event data directly from our servers to Meta with hashed identifiers (such as hashed email addresses where you have provided one through a form). Meta may match this data to your Meta account to measure ad performance and serve you targeted advertising. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Meta ad settings or via youradchoices.com (US/Canada) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
EU visitors: We are working to implement a cookie consent mechanism. In the meantime, you may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or contact us to request your data not be processed via cookies.
How we share your information
We share your information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers: We use trusted third parties to help us operate our business, including hosting (Cloudflare, Supabase), email delivery (Resend), payment processing (Stripe), customer support tools, and marketing platforms (GoHighLevel, Meta, Google). These providers only receive the information needed to perform their services and are bound by confidentiality.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers: If TailorMade is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before this happens.
- With your consent: For any sharing not described above, we will ask you first.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When we no longer need information, we delete or anonymise it.
Specifically:
- Active client account data: retained for the duration of our relationship plus 7 years for legal and tax compliance
- Marketing data and analytics: retained for up to 2 years
- Email marketing subscriber data: retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days
